2021 Three Forks Rose’ ($20): Our 5th vintage of Three Forks Rose’ of Pinot Gris (Gamache Vineyard) shows a light copper-pink color and enticing aromas of strawberry, Rainier cherry, watermelon, and tangerine, with scents of cherry blossoms, pink roses, pink lilac and incense. The flavors are fresh and vivid, with notes of light grape skin, cherry stones, melon rind and alluvial minerals. The back picks up fraise and kirsch liqueurs and recurring tangerine peel, followed by a juicy, off-dry finish. Pair with brie and crackers, summer salads, grilled salmon with dill, grilled chicken and grilled veggies. 89 cases produced.
2021 Sunbreak Chenin Blanc ($20): Our 13th vintage of Sunbreak (Upland Vineyard) shows a light lemon-gold color and aromas of Asian pear-apple, white peach, honeydew melon, grapefruit, pear blossoms, honeysuckle, jasmine and lemon verbena. The flavors are deliciously juicy and vibrant, with notes of pear and grape skins, peach stone and gravelly minerals. The back picks up poire and pêche liqueurs, melon rind and grapefruit peel, followed by a crisp, faintly honeyed finish. 119 cases produced.
2018 Storm Front Red Blend ($30): Our 10th vintage of Storm Front is a "right bank" Merlot-dominant red blend featuring 50% Merlot (E&E Shaw Vineyard), 18% Cabernet Sauvignon (Boushey and Coyote Canyon Vineyards), 15% Petit Verdot (Dineen Vineyard), 15% Cabernet Franc (Dineen Vineyard) and 2% Malbec (Tudor Hills Vineyard). Aromas of sweet spice and chocolate followed by herbs. Flavors of dark cherries and black fruit with a long-lasting juicy finish. 140 cases produced.
2018 Downburst Cabernet Franc ($35, Wine Club Exclusive): Our 3rd vintage of Downburst is from a single recoopered French oak barrel that produced only 275 bottles. This Wine Club Exclusive comes from Dineen Vineyard near Zillah in the Yakima Valley. Aromas of strawberry and raspberry fruit roll-up, leather, graphite, and roasted bell pepper. Its flavors of cherry, blackberry and vanilla converge with sage and smoke into a smooth mouthfeel and juicy finish.
